It's pretty cool to say that the first instruments were drums! Just taking two sticks and hitting them together to make unique sounds is a percussion instrument. Also, percussion instruments are made from natural earth creations. Wood, gourds, bamboo, shells, skins and even bones!

Every culture has created their own drums that are hand-made and have been used for generations. Our focus on this website, is to assist the drummer and/or percussionist...yes, there is a distinction!
